Paris – A monitoring structure was put in place at the General Consulate of Morocco in Marseille to gather information on the possible existence of Moroccan victims in Nice attack, which left 84 dead, according to a provisional toll.
“We have not yet confirmed elements on the Moroccan victims. The French authorities have not yet delivered the list of victims, or reported their nationalities,” said Friday Moroccan diplomatic sources.
The monitoring structure is working closely with the authorities on site to gather evidence on the existence or not of Moroccan victims, and is also in constant contact with the embassy of Morocco in France, the same source added.
