In Pictures: El Jadida Inaugurates the First Moroccan Beach Library

Rabat – Supported by Ministry of Culture, young Moroccans have taken initiative to inaugurate the first beach library in Deauville area of El Jadida, according to AlYaoum 24.

The same source said that the initiative aims to increase the number of Moroccans reading and create an atmosphere of entertainment for visitors and vacationers in El Jadida in the summer.

The same source added that the library is distinguished by a unique form that attracts the holidaymakers to take books to read. It is as a complex that covers 7 meters in length and 1, 5 meters in width, including bookshelves surrounded by sun umbrellas and beach chairs.

The organizers hope to create cultural and literature events for the vacationers by hosting groups of Moroccan authors.

The library is free and available for everyone.
