Morocco’s Net International Reserves Rise by 24.9% as of July 15

Rabat – Morocco’s net international reserves amounted to MAD 242.7 billion until July 15, 2016, recording a 24.9 percent increase on an annual basis, Bank Al-Maghrib said.

During the week of July 14-20, 2016, the central bank injected MAD 26.44 billion.

Over the course of this period, the interbank rate rose to 2.3 percent.

During the same period, the dirham appreciated by 0.32 percent against the euro and depreciated by 0.5 percent against the dollar, the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators.
