The reserves recorded a 0.2 percent weekly decrease, the central bank pointed out in its weekly indicators.
During the week of July 21-27, 2016, the central bank injected MAD 20.1 billion.
Over the course of this period, the interbank rate remained fell to 2.25 percent, while the average daily exchanged volume fell to MAD 1.6 billion.
During the same period, the dirham appreciated by 1 percent against the euro and depreciated by 1.56 percent against the dollar.
