Rabat – The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) has inaugurated a new headquarters in Rabat. According to Fouzi Lekjaa, President of FMRF, the new headquarters “will ensure a better working environment for staff and stakeholders of the national football.”
According to Le Matin, the new headquarters, which is located in Ennakhil Boulevard in Hay Riad, will allow the FRMF to save 450,000 dirhams per month, which they pay for their current location.
FRMF’s new location, which totals at a 30 million MAD investment is one of the organization’s priorities; others include modernizing sports infrastructure, training for coaching and other support staff, as well as a reduction of violence in stadiums.
The Interior Minister, Mohamed Assad, Minister of Economy and Finance, Mohamed Boussaid, the Minister of Youth and Sports, Lahcen Sekkouri, the Minister Delegate Minister of the Interior, Drais Cherki and President of the Moroccan National Olympic Committee, Hosni Benslimane were all in attendance for the inauguration of the new location on Wednesday.
