Tetouan – A two-year-old girl died and 44 other people were injured on Wednesday in a road accident near the northern city of Tetouan.
The accident took place when a bus carrying the victims from Casablanca to Tetouan overturned in Ain Lahsan Commune (14 km from Tetouan), a source from Saniat Rmel hospital said.
The accident took place when the bus driver lost control of the vehicle, Royale Gendarmerie said.
The wounded were rushed to Tetouan’s Saniat Rmel hospital to receive the necessary health care. The causes of the accident are under investigation.
