Rabat – King Mohammed VI send a condolence message to the family of late Boris Toledano, Chairman of the Jewish community in Casablanca.
In this message, the Sovereign said He learned with deep emotion the death of late Boris Toledano.
On this sad occasion, the King expressed to the family members of the deceased, to his friends and to all members of the Moroccan Jewish community, His condolences and sincere feelings of compassion, following the loss of one of the faithful sons of Morocco, known for his sincere nationalism, his commitment to his authentic Moroccan identity, to the sacred values of his homeland, and to the glorious Alawite Throne.
Boris Toledano died on Wednesday in Casablanca at the age of 97.
He died following a feeling of general discomfort, according to his friends and relatives.
The deceased will be laid to rest on Thursday at the Ben M’sik Israelite cemetery.
