Rabat – The event to release the new iPhone 7 series took place in the Bill Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, California this past Wednesday.
The two iPhones come in two different sizes: the iPhone 7 has a 4.7-inch screen and the iPhone 7 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen.
This release unveiled two completely new features: water-resistance and AirPods. Moreover, the traditional headphone jack has disappeared from this new series and has been replaced by a set of wireless headphones called AirPods.
Along with iPhone 7, Apple released its brand new Apple Watch Series 2 that includes a Global Positioning System (GPS).
As to the major upgrades, Apple introduced the “dual lens” camera system that consists of two cameras that shoot as one (iPhone 7 Plus), making it 60 percent faster, as Apple claims.
Another significant update is the phone’s battery life that is twice as fast as IPhone 6 and the longest batter life ever in an IPhone due to the A10 Fusion Chip. Apple declares in its official website that the new battery system uses “the most powerful chip ever in a smartphone.”
Equally impressive is Apple’s new Stereo Speaker System that is claimed to be two times louder than the iPhone 6S.
The iPhone 7 and 7 Plus will be available on September 9 for pre-order and September 16 for order.
