Rio de Janeiro – Morocco’s El Amin Chentouf finished second in the 5000m T13/12 category in the Paralympics games in Rio, Brazil.
The race was dominated by Kenya’s Henry Kirwa who reclaimed the title he won back in Beijing 2008.
Kirwa crossed the finishing line in a time of 14 minutes 17.32 seconds which is his new personal best time, while Chentouf finished the race in 14:21.04.
Tunisia’s Bilel Aloui finished third (14:33.33).
Morocco boasts, so far, five medals at these games (two golds, two silvers and one bronze).
