In a video posted online, the film legend uses a series of insults to describe the Republican candidate.
“I mean he’s so blatantly stupid,” says De Niro in the video, which has already gained over half a million views on Facebook.
The 73-year-old actor also added that Trump is “an idiot” “who doesn’t know what he is talking about.”
He then goes onto express his anger and concern that Trump enjoys such a great following.
De Niro ends with his vision for the future and encourages people to make the right decision when voting for the next President of the US.
Presidential elections are set to be held next month in the US, with the main contending candidates being Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
