This exhibition is considered as the most important trade event in Saudi Arabia to promote the construction industry, said Maroc Export in a statement, noting that the latest edition of “Saudi Build” brought together 875 exhibitors and 16,274 visitors.
According to the same source, Morocco is the 57th supplier and the 29th customer of Saudi Arabia, while Saudi Arabia is the 15th supplier of the Moroccan market and the 20th customer of Morocco’s exports.
In Morocco, the construction industry contributes to 6% of GDP and includes approximately 60,000 companies, said the statement, adding that the industry, which employs more than 25,700 people, has a turnover of 37 billion dirhams with an added value of 14 billion dirhams.
