Morocco’s election to the presidency of this organization which brings together regions and associations from different continents, notably Latin America, Eastern Europe and Africa, “will contribute to strengthen relations between the Kingdom and regions throughout the world, and serve the interests of the Kingdom, especially as some countries of Latin America are still unaware of the reality of the national cause”, Sekkal told MAP.
In this respect, Mr. Sekkal announced the holding of the meeting of the executive committee of the Organization of United Regions next year in Morocco, adding that this event will be an opportunity for many members of the Organization to inquire on the development in the Kingdom in various fields, particularly in the political field.
He added that a series of meetings with the presidents of the regions of southern provinces will be organized on this occasion and visits of the Organization’s delegations will be scheduled to the Sahara provinces.
