Rabat – On Friday, Saudi Arabian media reported that Moroccan authorities found a rotting corpse of a Saudi citizen last Wednesday in a rented apartment in Casablanca.
The same source said that Moroccan authorities received calls from residents of the building, declaring that the apartment stank.
The authorities came to the scene and found the body of the Saudi citizen lying on a couch in the apartment wearing nightclothes.
The same source added that the authorities also found cardiovascular drugs in the apartment.
According to the preliminary findings from the police investigation, the deceased worked at the Saudi Palace in Morocco. He had been married to a Moroccan, but later divorced her.
The deceased’s body was taken to the forensic department in order to determine the cause of death.
