Rabat – Police at the Mohammed V airport in Casablanca arrested, on Thursday, a German national trying to smuggle over 22 kg of cocaine, said the national police (DGSN).
The suspect, 23, arrived in Casablanca from Sao Paulo (Brazil) and was bound for Abidjan.
The illicit drug was hidden in the luggage of the German national, the DGSN said in a statement.
She was remanded in custody to complete the investigation led under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office.
