Rabat – King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to Russian president Vladimir Putin following the killing of the ambassador of the Russian Federation in Ankara.
In this message, the sovereign said he was “deeply saddened and moved by the despicable criminal attack, which claimed the life of the ambassador of the sister nation of Russia in the Turkish capital Andrei Karlov, in a blatant and unacceptable violation of human values.”
While extending, on his behalf and that of Morocco, his utter condemnation of this horrible terrorist act and firm denunciation of terrorism under all its forms, the King extended to President Poutine, the deceased’s family and the friendly Russian people, his “heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion, Praying the Almighty to give them patience and comfort.”
