Rabat – Moroccan International, Oussama Assaidi, has officially moved to Dutch professional football club, FC Twente, for two years and half, according to the FC Twente website.
After he canceled his contract with Dubai’s club, where he’d played since January 2015, 28-year-old former Stoke and Liverpool winger, Al Ahli, said, “I’m looking forward to playing again in the first division. For me, there were several options at home and abroad, but I deliberately chose Twente.”
“FC Twente plays the football that suits me and I have fond memories of the atmosphere here in the stadium. I have not played one period and will need some time to get back on track. Eventually, I will repay patience. I am a public player and I want to show again at FC Twente that I can,” Assaidi added.
Assaidi took to his Facebook page Sunday to share his delight with his fans, posting a photo of himself carrying the FC Twente’s shirt number 8.
Assaidi was loaned out from Liverpool to Stoke City in 2013 and performed well under the supervision of Manager Mark Hughes. He and his fellow team mates managed to win many games and Assaidi scored five goals.
