According to the same source, the perpetrator of this shooting was arrested and remanded in custody pending investigation under the supervision of the public prosecutor’s office.
New information revealed today, however, suggests the crime ma have been politically motivated, according to Le360, because the man accused of murder is a PAM communal councilor. The killer, sources tell the Moroccan daily, would have threatened his victims with death if they did not vote for his party on the October 7 elections.
The man, who had 25 cartridges on him at the time of his arrest, was allegedly planning another murder in a Ouazzani forest region prior to his arrest, according to the same source.
