Rabat – The fuel distribution operator Afriquia has launched a new automotive maintenance services through the AutoGo brand.
The new center was inaugurated at the Palmeraie station, located at the entrance of the city of Marrakesh. The company’s staff was present for the inauguration, including Said El Baghdadi, CEO of Afriquia SDMC, who stated in a communiqué published by the company that “AutoGo is the new address of car maintenance offering a service of quality, reliable products, and answers precisely adapted to the needs of our customers.”
The inauguration was also an opportunity to present the new station model that the group is currently implementing throughout its distribution network. This model consists of architecture reflecting the new visual identity adopted by the distributor at several sale points, with El Baghdadi stating that “this new brand was created on the occasion of the redesign of the visual identity of the Afriquia service stations.”
The brand development program already has 8 operational centers, and other openings are planned for the year 2017. AutoGo offers two types of services under the names AutoGo and AutoGo Extra. The first consists of basic maintenance services for emergency repair, vehicle washing, or oil change. The second includes technical services developed in the fields of pneumatics, braking, or air conditioning.
The implementation of the new AutoGo centre comes in line with the overhaul program of more than 500 stations of the Afriquia network, which started back in 2015. “Our work is not limited to aesthetic aspects,” affirmed El Baghdadi, “the customer experience had undergone a complete makeover within our resorts. We also reviewed the ergonomics of the various components of the service stations, offering better conditions to our staff.”
The group also invested in a news solar station at the Palmeraie center of Marrakesh in November for COP22.
