Agadir – Moroccan authorities arrested, Thursday in Agadir, three men, including a Moroccan-born Frenchman, suspected of international drug trafficking.
The operation resulted in the seizure of 50 kilograms of cannabis resin concealed in sugar canisters in two vehicles, the local police said in statement.
According to the first elements of the investigation, the Moroccan-born Frenchman bought the drug and agreed with the other two individuals to hide it in sugar cans before shipping them to France, the same source pointed out.
The three defendants are remanded in custody pending the completion of the investigation.
