Moroccan Entrepreneur Launches Europe’s Largest Cyber Defense Center

Moroccan Entrepreneur Mohammed boumediane Launches Europe's Largest Cyber Defense Center

Rabat – The largest private cyber defense company in Europe, founded by Moroccan entrepreneur Mohamed Boumediane, launched a new center in Montpellier, France on March 7, 2017.

The center required an investment of more than 100 million euros.

Boumedine’s company Ziwit has become the leading European company in cyber security and protection in less than 6 years.

The company specializes in the detection of and protection against security flaws on the web.

More than 9,400 customers have trusted the security tool “HTTPCS”, created by Boumediane and his team.

The group is present in Spain, Tunisia, Morocco, Germany and Guatemala. To date, it employs more than 200 employees, mostly engineers.

Boumediane will head a delegation of about 20 business men operating in Montpellier to visit Fez soon, in order to develop economic ties between the two cities.
