Bogota - Morocco's ambassador to Colombia and Ecuador Farida Loudaya met, on Tuesday at the headquarters of the Colombian parliament, with speaker of the Colombian house of representatives Miguel Angel Pinto Hernandez on means to foster inter-parliamentary cooperation between the two sides.

On this occasion, the two parties welcomed the excellent bilateral relations of friendship and mutual respect that have united the two countries since 1979.
The two sides also expressed their willingness to further strengthen cooperation between the two law-making bodies and promote closer relations through meetings and regular visits between the Moroccan and Colombian parliamentarians.
During the meeting, the diplomat discussed with the Colombian MP the latest developments of Morocco’s territorial integrity, expressing his thanks for the unwavering support by the Colombian House of Representatives for efforts made by Morocco to find a final political solution to this artificial conflict under the United Nations aegis.
