Rabat – Real Madrid defeated Deportivo Alavés with a 3-0 victory in the 29th day of La Liga 2017, on Sunday at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium, in Madrid.
French striker, Karim Benzema opened the scoring at the 31-minute mark in the game. Catalan platform Sports, questioned Benzema’s goal, claiming that it happened as the result of infiltration by the French player.
Real Madrid continued its control over the game. Spanish midfielder, Francisco Román Alarcón Suárez, commonly known as Isco, scored the second goal against Alaves at 82 minutes. Three minutes later, RMD defender, José Ignacio Fernández Iglesias, better known as Nacho, scored the third goal for Real Madrid.
With this win, Real Madrid strengthens its first position with 68 points. It is followed by Barcelona with 66 points. The Two giants will face each other in a highly anticipated showdown on April 23.
