Rabat – Real Madrid’s key defenders, Raphael Varane and Kepler Laveran Lima Ferreira, commonly known as Pepe, are expected to miss their upcoming games due to injury.
Real Madrid will desperately miss its key defenders, Pepe and Varane, due to injuries sustained in previous games.
French center-back, Varane, played in the previous clash vs Deportivo Alaves on April 2, but, just 10 minutes into his appearance, he suffered another injury. This will relegate him to the sidelines for April’s future games.
For his part, Pepe fractured two ribs following his early goal during Saturday’s match against Atletico Madrid.

Real Madrid will only have Sergio Ramos and Jose Ignacio Fernandez Iglesias, commonly known as Nacho, in Tomorrow’s match. According to French sport outlet, L’Equipe, Real Madrid’s coach is expected to replace his key defenders with Daniel Carvajal for the April 12 clash against Bayern Munich.
With the unexpected change, Real Madrid will be also obliged to play without Pepe and Varane at the upcoming Classico match at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium against Barcelona, scheduled for April 23.
