Rabat – Moroccan-Swedish songwriter and record executive, Nadir Khayat, better known as RedOne, has appeared in a video along with his team, in the streets of Tetouan city while shooting the new video for Moroccan rapper, French Montana.
The one-minute video shows French Montana filming a video with his phone while simultaneously listening to Algerian singer, Cheb Hasni.
The same video shows Tetouan residents thronging in the city’s Boulevard Mohammed V to support the singer.
French Montana, who released a video clip earlier this week in Uganda, titled “Unforgettable,” appeared in a terrace building in the city of Tetouan, looking out at his fans, telling them, “I love you Moroccans.”
Montana, who has managed to become one of the most successful rappers in the United States, remains fondly attached to his homeland of Morocco.
In 2015, in an interview with Hit Radio, Montana expressed his love for Moroccan hospitality saying, “I love Moroccan hospitality. That’s why [always] home is sweet home.”
Last August, Montana appeared in a video taking a stroll through the “Medina Leqdima,” the old city of Casablanca where he was born and raised.
