Rabat – Mohammed Chabab, Moroccan pianist and composer fascinated an appreciative audience with a performance of his own concertos in a show held on May 4, in Rabat.
Ahead his big upcoming show, to be announced soon at the Mohammed V theater, the pianist presented a selection of his notable masterpieces.
The talented young pianist was presented with an international award for instrumentalists and composers in 2015, at the 23rd edition of the “Music and Earth” competition in Sofia, Bulgaria.
According to Maghreb Arab Press (MAP), the pianist told the press that this musical conference is a celebration of the release of his new album which brings together two opuses, promoting his album and himself as an artist.
The classical album consists of two opuses compromised of 16 pieces, all composed and performed by Chabab.
“My music is a sempiternal landscape of poetry and sensitivity which we enjoy while dreaming [ …] My pieces are for the souls taking a path of the quest for love and peace,” explained the pianist.
