Rabat – Business delegation members from China discussed investments opportunities in Morocco on Monday with several Moroccan officials in Rabat.
The delegation met with the president of the Kenitra-Rabat-Salé region, Abdessamad Sekkal, and discussed market opportunities for Chinese projects in the region as well as measures to promote and strengthen business ties between the two countries.
The meeting was marked by the presence of Mohammed Khalil, president of the Morocco-China Friendship and Exchanges Association and Ding Houfei, president of Islamic-Chinese Council.
The two sides agreed to collaborate to further promote China-Morocco cooperation in different sectors, especially business and investments.
During their business gathering, Morocco’s officials and the Chinese delegation signed a partnership framework that will focus on business interactions between the Kenitra-Rabat-Sale region and Chinese companies.
Earlier this month, China and Morocco also agreed on the establishment of a joint venture to monitor the construction of residential complexes and industrial firms of the Mohammed VI Tangier Tech City.
