Rabat – Royal Air Maroc (RAM) has issued a statement reminding its clients that Morocco reverted to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) on May 21, suspending Daylight Saving Time (DST) for the whole month of Ramadan.
“It should be taken into account that the timing and arrival of all flights will be earlier by one hour,” RAM added.
In an attempt to avoid any confusion, RAM called upon its clients to start the registration process at airports at least 3 hours prior to the time of travel.
Morocco follows DST during summer, except during the fasting month of Ramadan.
