Rabat – German airline, Eurowings, will launch a new four-hour flight linking Agadir to the Austrian Capital of Vienna, starting November 4.
The company has scheduled flights every Saturday via its Airbus A319 plane, which comprises of 12 seats in First Class and 126 seats in Business Class.
On Saturdays, flights leaving from Austria are scheduled for 12:40 p.m (GMT), while flights leaving from Agadir are scheduled for 5:10 p.m.
The flight duration between Agadir and Vienna is four hours.
According to a press release issued by the German company, the flight was launched due to the “attractiveness of Agadir”.
The new service will draw the attention of many foreign travelers, especially business passengers. Eurowings explained that “a dense network combining popular tourist destinations” was enticing for business travelers.
The announced route will be the third Eurowings flight connecting Agadir to Europe – flights linking Agadir to Dusseldorf, Germany, will start October 29 and flights between the southern city and Munich will begin November 1.
Eurowings also intends to launch another two flights between Morocco and Europe; Munich to Marrakech will start November 3, while Dusseldorf to Fez will begin November 4. The company also has plans to fly to Casablanca, Nador and Tangier.
Eurowings is a low-cost German airline whose headquarters are in Düsseldorf. The airline serves a network of domestic and European destinations, as well as various long-haul routes. Eurowings’ bases are: Berlin Tegel Airport, Cologne Bonn Airport, Düsseldorf Airport, Hamburg Airport, and Vienna International Airport.
