Rabat – A total of 156,042 candidates enrolled in public and private high schools have successfully passed the June 2017 Baccalaureate regular session, with a success rate of 50.28 percent.
The number of candidates who successfully passed the June semester examinations of the baccalaureate for the year 2017, at the Oriental region level, reached 10,843 pupils, a success rate of 57.71 percent.
The Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region reached a success rate of 54.91 percent, with 23,366 candidates successfully passed their 2017 baccalaureate.
A total of 19,870 pupils enrolled in Fes-Meknes region high schools successfully passed their baccalaureate exam, representing a success rate of 53.52 percent.
In the region of Drâa-Tafilalet, the number of candidates who successfully passed the baccalaureate reached 9.093 pupils, or 50.20 percent.
The number of students who successfully passed their Baccalaureate in the Béni Mellal-Khénifra region amounted to 10,921 pupils, or a success rate of 48.82 percent.
15,938 students in the Marrakech-Safi region passed the baccalaureate, a success rate of 47,80 percent.
The number of candidates who passed the baccalaureate exams in Guelmim-Oued Eddahab region reached 2,511 students, for a success rate of 43.59 percent.
The Ministry of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, announced on Tuesday that this year’s examination recorded an general increase of 1.13 percent over the 2016 June session.
