Joining the global trend which has taken over the streets of Paris and Zurich, the festival will kick off with an electro-parade, quickening the city’s vibrations and transforming its streets into a dance floor. The Electro Parade will take place today (July 6) at 8:30 p.m.
The outdoor music festival features three music stages of music at Toro, Ain Sbaa and Place Des Nations Unies. This year’s line-up includes 28 performers, with headliners including French Montana, Maher Zain, Gloria Gaynor, Jil Jilala, and Nass El Ghiwane.
Aside from the diverse and vibrant music performances, the organizers have set up several artistic events. Among these events is “Living Arts” taking place on July 7 at Jarda-CIE Ferganisme. Dedicated to street arts in Morocco, “Living Arts” celebrates the multidisciplinary forms of street art in the country, varying from street theatre to circus performances.
The “We Dance” platform invites two of the most celebrated French hip-hop choreographers, Kader Attou and Mourad Merzouki, for dance workshops on July 11 at Roches Noires and July 14 at Place Mohammed V.
According to the organizers, the Moroccan metropolis has always been a city of cinema. To restore the nobility of this legacy, the public is invited to attend projections of films from July 10 to 14 at Beach Raha Sidi Bernoussi.
