Rabat – Marrakech’s Mohammed VI University Hospital (CHU) will replace the current in-person system for booking appointments with an online system, making the hospital the first to do so in the Moroccan health sector.
“This new service will also allow hospitals to offer a quality service, better management of waiting lines and a good control of deadlines for booking appointments,” stated a press release issued by CHU.
CHU also believes that the new service will help patients to avoid the hospital’s frequent transfers, thus minimizing the travel costs incurred and optimizing the use of time and energy.
The new online health system will be in operation from July 31. “Appointments will be made only on the internet, however a call number will be available for CHU patients to call for information regarding medical appointments.”
CHU added that the new service concerns the outpatient clinic, (the nearby Ibn Tofail Hospital), which will become increasingly connected to the hospital structures of the CHU.
Appointments can be made at chumarrakech.ma/rendezvous.
