Rabat - Algerian Raï singer Reda Taliani will resume his concerts from July 21 ,just 10 days after he entered a coma following a car crash in Paris.
Rabat – Algerian Raï singer Reda Taliani will resume his concerts from July 21 ,just 10 days after he entered a coma following a car crash in Paris.
“After fear and burden, Reda Taliani wants to seriously respect and ensure his recovery, in order to return to his artistic activities as soon as possible,” the singer’s press agency wrote in a statement. “In agreement with his manager Michael Iken, only four dates have been cancelled at the moment.”
The statement announced that this decision was made “following an assessment by the medical team who have been monitoring Reda Taliani’s health condition.
The singer was involved in a car accident in Paris around noon on July 11. He fell into a coma and was later revealed to be in “critical condition.”
The singer’s cancelled dates included a performance on Thursday at Casa Music, Casblanca’s festival of music and arts. The festival’s artistic director later announced that Kader Japonais would replace him in the concert at Ain Sbaa.
