Rabat – The city of Casablanca will host the second edition of the International Sport and Recreation in Africa Forum from September 27 to October 1, according to Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).
The event will gather together 100 national and international sports experts and is expected to receive 40,000 visitors and 150 exhibitors from 12 different countries.
The forum has chosen “sports in service of the African youth” as the slogan for this year’s event, and it will host various conferences, entertainment venues, and sports activities.
France will be the country of honor in this event’s second edition.
The forum will be marked by a 10 kilometer race entitled ‘Foulées d’Anfa’.
“This new initiative aims to invite Casablanca residents to testify their running skills,” said the statement.
The international forum will be also an opportunity to officially announce the creation of the National Federation of Sports Professionals, whose objective is to bring together sports marketing experts. It aims to contribute to the development of the sports field in the kingdom.
