Rabat – The city of Casablanca will host the first edition of Africa Job Forum November 1 and 2. The symposium will highlight job opportunities available not only in Morocco but also in the different countries across the African continent.
Under the theme “Les talents du continent à l’honneur,” the symposium seeks to gather enterprises and employees from the entire continent. It will also bring together young graduates and experienced managers in order to exchange information related to their employment experiences.
The event will form part of Morocco’s policies aiming to make the kingdom an attractive training and employment center in Africa, reported Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).
“Trade between Morocco and the other countries of the continent should eventually generate high labor mobility on both sides, which should be seized to optimize recruitment, especially for the benefit of the African firms that are open to commerce across their borders,” writes the organizers.
The event also aims to promote connections between employers and employment candidates, with the aim to create a recruitment ecosystem adapted to the standards of African enterprises. It also seeks to promote best practices in human resources through conferences and meetings, which will bring together experts and representatives from several African countries. The symposium is expected to attract a hundred exhibitors and 10,000 visitors, including international firms, employment agencies, online recruitment platforms, and government agencies.
