Rabat – Moroccan business woman and Aksal group founder Salwa Akhannouch has unveiled her new smart beauty and cosmetics store, Yan&One, in Casablanca’s Morocco Mall.
The Yan&One store offers a multitude of products (make-up, care, beauty, fragrances, hygiene, accessories and teas). It has a line of care elaborated by the biggest European laboratories in Switzerland and in France, while respecting the international cosmetic regulations.
The smart beauty store is spread out over a surface of area of 3000 square meters of the mall’s ground-floor.
“The brand, aiming to revolutionize the universe of Moroccan beauty, is the fruit of more than three years of work and research, which allowed to concretize an innovative concept and a singular approach of beauty,”said the deputy CEO of the Aksal Group, Laurent Izuel.
The new store has 1,000 screens, interactive tactile mirrors, digital tools and videos allowing customers to discover and adopt the last trends.
“Yan&One wants to develop a different approach, by proposing to the consumers a multitude of looks make-up exclusive, conceived by the biggest professionals of beauty in France and proposed to the consumer in a interactive and digital way,” said Izuel during the launching ceremony on October 25.
A short documentary broadcasted during the launching ceremony explained that Akhannouch wants to create a product offering to satisfy all women and men, whatever their skin color, morphology, styles, desires, and resources.
During the launching ceremony reserved for the media, Akhannouch explained that this project required a huge investment and is an important generator of employment, with already 200 young recruits having benefited from six months of training to acquire advanced expertise in many fields.
The brand also draws its inspiration from the Moroccan nature by proposing a new range of ritual care “Moroccan Rituals,” using the best natural ingredients as certified 100% natural argan oil and prickly pear oil.
Insisting on the fact that products, despite being of exceptional international quality, will be in prices affordable to all, Akhannouch said that much effort were made to allow Moroccans to enjoy the products without becoming broke.
The store’s official opening to the general public will be on Sunday, October 28
