‘Student Leadership’ Program to Send Morocco’s Future Female Leaders to US

Rabat – The US Embassy in Morocco and the Study of US Institutes (SUSI) have released a call for Moroccan female students, offering a five-week, all-expenses-paid ‘Student Leadership’ program to the US next summer.

With one week of an integrated study tour and four weeks of academic residency, the program is “designed to improve [candidates’] understanding of the United States and to develop their leadership skills.”

To qualify, women must be between ages 18-25; current undergraduates with at least a semester left of university; from, and currently residing in, Morocco; proficient in English; demonstrate a commitment to leadership; and show interest in America with little or no previous travel to the US.

Applications are available online through midnight November 30, 2017.

SUSI is a government organization offering short-term exchange programs in the US for foreign university undergraduates, graduate students, and teachers.
