Rabat – Three young men from the northern city of Asilah turned over an abandoned bag containing a sum of money to the police after they found it on their way back from school.
Upon their arrival at Mohammed V Square, located in the center of the city, the three pupils found a lost bag containing a sum of money estimated at MAD 25,000, in addition to Euro banknotes and passports, which turned to belong to a Moroccan citizen resident in the Netherlands.
Although some homeless people tried to steal the handbag from the young men, they managed to escape and went directly to the nearest police station to hand it over to the security agents.
The police then informed the owner of the bag, who rushed immediately to the police station to claim it, which made the Moroccan immigrant cry tears of joy and thank the 15-year-old men for their ethical behavior.
