Rabat - The Directorate of National Meteorology (DMN) has reported that heavy rains accompanied by gusts of strong wind and thunderstorms will hit several regions of Morocco on Monday.
Rabat – The Directorate of National Meteorology (DMN) has reported that heavy rains accompanied by gusts of strong wind and thunderstorms will hit several regions of Morocco on Monday.
According to a special publication released by the Directorate of National Meteorology on Sunday, heavy rains of 35 to 60 millimeters are expected Monday from from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the provinces of Tangier, Fahs-Anjra, M’diq-Fnideq, Larache, Chefchaouen, Ouezzane, Kenitra, Sidi Kacem and Sidi Slimane.
The amount of rain may exceed the forecast, however, especially on the reliefs of these provinces, the directorate noted.
The DMN also forcasts heavy rains on Monday from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. in the provinces of Rabat, Sale, Skhirat-Témara, Khemissat, Ben Slimane, Mohammedia, Casablanca, Nouaceur, Mediouna, Berrechid, Settat, Khouribga, Khenifra, El Jadida, Sidi Bennour, Safi and Essaouira.
