The French security guards thought a passenger flying to casablanca hid a “firing device.”
The cabin luggage of a passenger who was scheduled to fly from Paris Orly airport to Casablanca aboard a Royal Air Maroc flight on Thursday evening put security services on alert, according to Le Parisien.
Security guards feared that the passenger was carrying a “firing device” so they evacuated two halls of the airport.
A few minutes later, the bomb squad discovered that the object was a pair of “connected flashing shoes.”
Le Parisien added that the plane supposed to carry the passenger took off for Morocco.
