Rabat – Portuguese football legend Luis Figo has been sharing mesmerizing photos from his winter trip in Morocco.
The North African country has become a popular destination for tens of thousands of tourists and celebrities throughout the year.
This time, it is Figo who shared a set of photos that capture his love for Morocco, its culture and diversity.
Figo shared his first photos in Morrocco on January 2.
The photos show Figo navigating Marrakech’s Jemaa El Fna square, fascinated by the handcraft shops surrounding the place in the old medina.
“Souk time” he wrote for his first caption.
One of the photos shows the football player posing randomly in the square, with a casual outfit and a nike cap, a pair of blue jeans, and a veste.
The latest photo was in the Sahara desert with a beautiful camel and its baby. Figo also posed in front of the Jemaa El Fna mosque.
Marrakech, the Moroccan red-washed city or simply the red city, has been attracting millions of tourists annually.
Forbes listed the city among the 20 best places to visit in 2020.
In addition to Figo, superstar David Guetta and Hollywood sweetheart Meryl Streep also visited the city in December 2019.
