Rabat – Dubai police have arrested Moroccan Instagram “influencer” Aicha Ayach, who is the subject of an international arrest warrant from Morocco.
A video that appears to show Ayach sitting in a Dubai court has gone viral on social media.
Police arrested the Moroccan national at the Dubai International Airport on Tuesday, January 14, where she was allegedly trying to escape the UAE to Turkey.
Ayach is allegedly involved in the “Hamza mon bb” blackmail affair.
The Hamza mon bb affair refers to a set of social network accounts used by multiple suspects to share indecent content for blackmailing purposes.

According to the victims of the case, Ayach had access to the Snapchat and Instagram accounts used to blackmail high-profile figures.
The Moroccan woman is also allegedly involved in human trafficking networks that exploit Moroccan women in Gulf countries.
Police arrested six people for their alleged involvement in the Hamza mon bb scandal, including a policeman who works in Casablanca.
Authorities arrested the policeman for leaking information to Ayach, according to reports.
The list of suspects in the Hamza mon bb affair includes Moroccan singer Dounia Batma and her sister Ibtissam.
The two sisters are currently out of jail on bail. Police confiscated their passports in December 2019. They are prohibited from leaving Moroccan territory pending completion of the investigation.
