Join on Telegram Rabat – Morocco’s flag carrier airline Royal Air Maroc will offer special fares on flights from New York, Washington D.C., and Miami for Ramadan and Eid.
Round trips to Washington D.C. and Miami will be available for $750 (MAD 7,785), while New York will be available to book for $850 (MAD 8,823).
In addition to the discounted fares, the airline will also offer an extra free piece of luggage for those who take advantage of the offering.
The promotion aims to offer Moroccans living in the US the chance to experience the holy month in Morocco and experience “the unique spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan in Morocco along with the priceless family gatherings.”
Tickets will be available to purchase through the airline’s website and apps until February 26, with discounts available for flights between March 13 and April 30.
Many Moroccans who live abroad travel to Morocco for Ramadan and Eid as spending them abroad often leaves something to be desired, compared to the family gatherings and traditional celebrations in their home country.
Ramadan is expected to fall in late March this year. Renowned Moroccan astronomer Aziz Khattabi predicted that March 23 would be the start date for the holy month.
