Rabat – Over 33,634 civilians have been killed in Gaza since October 7 by the Israeli Occupation Forces, which continue their merciless war in the besieged enclave.
The health ministry in the Palestinian enclave said that injured victims rose to 76,214 as of today.
In the past 24 hours, Israeli forces killed at least 89 people, the ministry said, adding that many people are still trapped under the rubble.
The rising death toll comes as Israel continues its brutal war across Gaza as well as the occupied West Bank.
Israeli occupation forces launched several relentless campaigns in the northern part of Nuseirat camp in central Gaza through air strikes and artillery shelling.
Journalists have also been wounded, with Al Jazeera reporting today that journalists from different channels including the TRT Arabic channel were injured during the Israeli attack.
At least 29 people have been reported dead. In addition, Israeli forces also beat and detained a volunteer paramedic with the Palestine Red Crescent Society.
“Israeli occupation forces targeted the Palestine Red Crescent ambulance in Tubas with live bullets this morning while providing first aid for one of the injured in al-Far’a,” the Palestine Red Crescent wrote on X, formerly Twitter.
The situation sparked a new outrage, with the international community failing to address the Israeli Occupation Forces’ brutal war.
Spain denounced the deepening devastation in Gaza, stressing that his country seeks to stop the humanitarian disaster in the Palestinian enclave.
On Wednesday, the Spanish Prime Minister said the recognition of a Palestinian state is in Europe’s geopolitical interests, adding that the international community cannot help Palestine if it does not recognize its existence.
