Rabat — Ryanair has announced a new direct route starting 31 March 2025 that connects Paris-Beauvais to Essaouira on Morocco’s Atlantic coast.
The budget airline will put in place two flights a week, on Mondays and Fridays, offering options for both short and long stays.
Essaouira is the latest addition to Ryanair’s growing network of destinations from Paris-Beauvais. Last summer, the airline established direct flights to Moroccan hotspots such as Marrakech, Fès, and Agadir.
By adding Essaouira to the mix, Ryanair opens the door for travellers to discover a hidden gem far away from the usual tourist attractions.
Travellers using Paris-Beauvais can catch one-hour shuttle buses from Paris Porte Maillot. Passengers should make sure to check in online, avoid extra charges, and register to hold luggage in advance.

Essaouira’s charm lies in its mix of history and natural beauty. The city is just a 20-minute taxi ride from its airport. Visitors can explore the UNESCO-listed medina, with its winding streets and bustling workshops where artisans craft thuya-made goods.
Local restaurants serve fresh seafood, a favourite among visitors.
The town’s beaches are a paradise for water sports enthusiasts, with steady winds attracting surfers, kitesurfers, and windsurfers.
For those seeking relaxation, the calm main beach offers a spot to unwind with views of the Mogador Islands.
Essaouira enjoys mild temperatures year-round ranging from 20 to 25 degrees in summer and a pleasant 15 degrees in winter.
Accommodation options include traditional riads in the medina and modern hotels along the waterfront.
For those seeking cultural experiences, Essaouira does not disappoint. The Gnaoua World Music Festival is held every year in June and attracts fans of Gnaoua and African music from across the world.
