Casablanca – Morocco’s Hassan II Foundation for Moroccans Living Abroad has opened a reception center at its headquarters in Rabat as part of Operation Marhaba 2026. The center will remain open from June 10 through September 15 and is intended to assist Moroccans residing abroad during their annual return to the country.
According to the foundation, the center provides listening, guidance, and follow-up for requests submitted by members of the Moroccan diaspora. It also allows visitors to speak directly with the foundation’s legal specialists for support on various matters.
The reception center operates from Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
Representatives from the National Agency for Land Conservation, Cadastre and Cartography are available on site, including services related to land registration and mapping. Officials from the General Directorate of Taxes are also present to assist visitors. A remote connection with the Customs and Indirect Tax Administration remains available throughout the operation.
The foundation said its different departments can also be reached by phone and email during the same opening hours from Monday to Friday, allowing Moroccans living abroad to seek assistance without visiting the center in person.
Operation Marhaba 2026 has continued at a steady pace this summer. As of July 20, more than 1.86 million Moroccans living abroad had returned to the country since the operation began on June 10, according to the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity.
Airports handled 938,641 arrivals, or 50.39% of the total, while 923,968 travelers entered through Morocco’s ports, representing 49.61%. The total marked a 1.04% increase compared with the reference period from the previous edition.
