Rabat – The Mohammedia School of Engineering (EMI) in Rabat will host the 10th edition of EMI Industrial Day on May 20, with the goal of empowering engineering students and shining a light on Morocco’s industrial development.

According to a press release from the event’s organizers, EMI Industrial Day aims to provide a new impetus for aspiring engineers to engage with the world of industry and explore its vast horizons.

The event will bring together industry experts for fruitful discussions and the exchange of know-how and expertise.

This year’s EMI Industrial Day will focus on two key topics. The first topic, titled “4th Industrial Revolution in Morocco: Challenges and Expectations,” will explore the latest trends in the industry and provide insights into the future projections of Moroccan industrial growth. According to the organizers, this will enable attendees to gain a comprehensive understanding of the evolving landscape.

The second topic, “The 5th Industrial Revolution in Morocco: Can we expect a direct shift to Industry 5.0?,” aims to spark discussions around the challenges and opportunities associated with the country’s industrial evolution. As the industry moves towards new paradigms, participants will have an opportunity to exchange ideas and explore potential strategies to embrace the transformative power of Industry 5.0.

The event will explore the opportunities and challenges associated with the rapid evolution of the Moroccan industry while highlighting the concepts of “automation” and “human-centeredness.”

“Through its previous editions, this event has consistently stood out as an exceptional platform for engineering students to interact with the world of industry and explore its vast horizons,” stated the organizers in a press release.

EMI Industrial Day has established itself as a bridge between academia and industry, empowering students and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

With its focus on propelling engineering students forward and shedding light on the industrial landscape in Morocco, the 10th edition of EMI Industrial Day promises to be an enlightening and transformative experience for all participants.

The event is organized by the Industrial Club at EMI in partnership with the Moroccan mining company Managem Group.
