New York – Destiny Vélez, Miss Puerto Rico 2015, engaged in a controversial Twitter rant on Thursday, where she lashed out at American filmmaker Michael Moore saying Muslims only terrorize innocent Americans.

She also sent a tweet to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to support his candidacy and his plan to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S.

Following Moore’s defense of Muslims this week when he stood outside the Trump Tower in Manhattan, holding a sign that read “We Are All Muslim”, Miss Puerto Rico took on to Twitter and replied with Islamophobic posts.

Vélez demonstrated her anti-Muslim sentiments and said that she was offended that Moore stood up in support of a group of people who she considers “terrorists, dangerous to America and good for nothing.”

The 20-year-old Twitter account @MissAmerica_PR has been shut down, however, the Latin Times news website kept records of her scandalous posts.

The 2016 Miss America contestant addressed her series of Islamophobic tweets to Michael Moore’s Twitter account (@MMFlint).

“Hold a sign that says “We are all believers in Christ.” Why are u defending Muslims that haven’t done nothing for the USA,” Vélez wrote.

“Muslims use our constitution to terrorize USA & plant gas stations,” she said.

Destiny went on to add that “All what Muslims have done is provided oil & terrorize this country & many others!!!!!!”

She insisted “all they do is build their mosques, feel offended by American values and terrorize innocent Americans and plant gas stations.”

“…And get guns and kills innocent ppl and destroy precious artifacts,” she kept on posting when users responded against her bigotry.

According to her, Muslims cannot be compared to other religions because she believes Islam incites terrorism.

“There’s NO comparison between Jews, Christians & Muslims. Jews nor Christians have terrorizing agendas in their sacred books,” the beauty pageant affirmed.

“Most terrorist attacks have had a religion & a name associated with them & they have been from Islam religion,” she added.

When a user accused Destiny of Islamophobia, she responded, “I don’t believe in religion so can’t be #Islamaphobic”

Miss Puerto Rico continued with her rant and attacked Muslim-Americans serving in the U.S. military.

“Many pull out the card of Muslims serving in our military. Are they in the military cuz they love our nation or to acquire benefits,” she posted.

Destiny does not understand “why do ppl want to separate Muslims from Isis when ISIS is a group of Muslim fanatics.”

In line with her anti-Muslim rhetoric, Miss Puerto Rico publicly declared her support for Donald Trump via Twitter.

“Seeing the actions of [Mr. Moore] in respect to your last remark I’m leaning to definitely vote for u! It’s time to clean up,” she posted.

Puerto Rican media were alerted about the beauty queen’s hate posts. Appalled by the remarks, many Puerto Ricans who have responded by ridiculing Destiny..

The island’s journalists and publicists created several hashtags to address her comments, such as #nonosrepresentas (you don’t represent us), #bochornoboricua (Puerto Rican hame), and #verguenzaajena (embarrassment).

“In a country of tradition and pride for beauty pageants and athletes MissAmerica_PR is on track to be the #bochornoboricua (Puerto Rican shame),” Elizabeth Figueroa, a Twitter user said.
