New York – American documentary filmmaker and screenwriter, Michael Moore, has invited people around the world to join him, make a sign with the phrase “We Are All Muslim” and post it on social media networks.

The photo should be accompanied by the hashtag #WeAreAllMuslim when posted on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.

Facebook users have responded to his request and left messages in support of his creative idea.

“Michael Moore stands not only for Muslims, but for each human rights! God bless you! People like you make changes, make history, make progress! #WeAreAllMuslims,” Ainura Aitibaeva wrote.

“These stands define the real character of a human being and his country. Michael Moore is a real humanist. If USA has Trump, it also has Michael Moore and endless no. of celebrity and people who stood by Muslims during these tough times when Muslims are the actual victims of terrorism…” Mohammed Shamsan said.

Michael expressed his appreciation for and respect towards Muslims in a unique way that has received thousands of comments in support of his courageous move.

om Wednesday, he responded to Donald Trump’s hate speech and fearmongering rhetoric against Muslims by taking a picture of himself outside of the Trump Tower on fifth avenue in Manhattan holding a sign reading “We Are All Muslim.”

Moore posted the photo on his Facebook profile and it went viral garnering hundreds of thousands of ‘likes’ and ‘shares’.

The famous left-wing political activist wants people to do the same to promote peace, understanding, tolerance and unity.

He supported his widely-shared image with a letter dedicated to the billionaire candidate in which he lashed out at his ideals and reminded him that America is a land of immigrants.

“Fortunately, Donald, you and your supporters no longer look like what America actually is today. We are not a country of angry white guys,” he said.

“So, in desperation and insanity, you call for a ban on all Muslims entering this country. I was raised to believe that we are all each other’s brother and sister, regardless of race, creed or color. That means if you want to ban Muslims, you are first going to have to ban me. And everyone else,” Moore added.
