Rabat – Prince’s former bassist Nik West will perform on July 17 and 18 in Rabat and Casablanca, respectively. Both concerts will be a tribute to Prince, the music legend who died earlier this year.

Nik West  is a bassist, vocalist, and a songwriter.  Originally from Phoenix, the artist of 25 years has played alongside the greatest artists, including Steven Tyler, Lenny Kravitz, Prince, and more. She has never played in Morocco before.

West is the face of a brand new line of basses called the Dimension Bass .She was a partner in helping to develop the basses. She is also the brainchild behind the Queen of Strings Competition. Nik West is one of the most talented bassists of her time.

The first concert will be on July 17 at the Studio des Arts Vivants in Casablanca at 9 pm. The next day, the second one will be held at the Renaissance Rabat at 20:30 pm. Tickets will cost 200 dirhams.

After she plays in Morocco, West plans to tour Georgia, Italy and Spain.
