Rabat – King Mohammed VI sent a message of congratulations to Portuguese president Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa, on the triumph of the Portuguese football team in the 2016 European Championship of Nations over the French team (1-0).
The Portuguese football team ended brilliantly the 2016 edition of the European Championship of Nations by wining the final of this competition against the French team. On this occasion, “I am glad to extend to you and to the friendly Portuguese people my heartfelt congratulations,” said the King in the message.
The sovereign also extended his sincere congratulations to the players and the technical staff of the Portuguese team who, throughout this championship, gave the best of themselves and accomplish such huge achievement.
